Finca Las Brisas is located in the foothills of Colombia’s eastern mountain range in Acevedo, Huila, where cool mountain breezes and natural water sources create an ideal environment for coffee cultivation. The farm takes its name from these gentle winds, which shape a microclimate ideal for coffee cherries.
Today, Finca Las Brisas is led by fourth-generation coffee grower John Wilmer Cuéllar Rodríguez and reflects decades of family knowledge, resilience, and adaptation. After overcoming major challenges such as coffee rust, the family rebuilt the farm with more resilient varieties and later expanded into specialty coffee, cultivating Tabi, Geisha, Pacamara, and select Bourbon types. The farm focuses on traditional washed, honey, and natural processes, prioritizing purity and clarity of flavor.
Among these is Pacamara, a rare large-bean variety SoloMia especially loves for its personality. Pacamara opens with bright strawberry notes, soft chocolate sweetness, and a delicate touch of rosewater. The cup is smooth and expressive, with gentle structure and a clean, elegant finish.
SoloMia presents this Pacamara Light Roast after discovering Finca Las Brisas through friends at Botero Coffee Company, whose close relationships with Colombian producers allow us to share coffees rooted in integrity, origin, and craft.
